Model Data Privacy Agreement Information

The 糖心logo入口 maintains a state-wide membership to the national education consortium, Access for Learning (鈥淎4L鈥).听 The membership allows New York educational agencies to use A4L鈥檚 National Data Protection Agreement (鈥淣DPA鈥), a standard DPA that meets the requirements of Education Law 搂 2-d and the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (鈥淔ERPA鈥).听 Schools that are interested in participating in the NDPA should work with their Regional Information Center (鈥淩IC鈥) to get onboarded.

Model Data Privacy Agreement and Instructions

For circumstances where the NDPA does not meet an educational agency鈥檚 needs, the Privacy Office provides the model DPA and instructions below.听 Please note that the model DPA and instructions do not represent legal advice.听 Educational agencies should consult their attorney for any legal questions.
