Dashboards
The Office of Teacher and Leader Development is currently developing two interactive dashboardsÌýto facilitate exploration of the relationship between educator preparation and workforce needs and provide insight into educator preparation programs, the flow of candidates into the profession, and the extent to which the supply of newly prepared educators aligns with workforce demand.
The purpose of the Educator Landscape and Workforce dashboards is to:Ìý
- Collect, analyze, and publicly report teacher workforce data to improve how districts and schools attract, prepare, recruit, hire, retain, and sustain teachers;
- Improve internal and external understanding of key issues related to educator shortages, preparation program quality, educator quality, and retention and mobility; andÌý
- Inform decisions related to policy, practice, and funding.
It is anticipated that theÌýEducator Landscape and Workforce dashboards will be available in 2027.
